Intentional Sports, a 10-acre sports campus on the West side of Chicago that brings a world-class sports and wellness facility, along with professional coaching, to kids who otherwise would not get the opportunity to PLAY.
Animal-assisted therapy can benefit sick and injured children in many ways, from providing comfort in times of stress to offering a distraction during a painful procedure. Phoenix Children’s Animal-Assisted Therapy Programs bring the healing power of animals to patients and their families. It is funded entirely by donations which covers the cost of the two full-time, specially trained facility dogs, their care and feeding, pet insurance, vet visits and shots, grooming and other expenses related to materials and training.
Pink Heals is targeting people not diseases. Although our main focus is the fight against cancer, we are here to serve those in need, no matter the illness. We are setting the example by being a true non-profit. 100% of every single fundraised dollar stays right here in the community. We are all volunteers, even at the National level. We are truly a movement for the people by the people.
